My first impressions of my early American history class were that it was going to be not so fun. Mostly because she was talking about how we would have to stand infront of the class a lot and do a lot of group projects. And I am not really a fan of talking infront of people or working in groups! So, I was not very excited.
Well, I do not like history so I would rather not be learning any of it! Therefore I do not really have anything I want to learn about.
The largest obstacle for me in class would be the videos that we are being expected to do! I do not like group work, speaking in public and definatly not a fan of making videos!! I have made a video for a class before and I did not find it enjoyable. I didn't want to do it so my part was horrible in the movie and my fellow group members were not happy. I did not work well with them! I just don't see why we have to make videos! And with people that we would probably never talk to outside of the group and/or this class!
Okay, Loretta. I think we all know what class that was! It's the 21st century, and we have to teach you these skills. I doubt you'll find a job where you don't have to work with others at some point. Hang in there. We teachers don't like everything we have to do either.
ReplyDeleteWell. The reason I chose to teach through making videos because I knew it would open people up. You may not be to thrilled about it now, but I think the group I put you with will be great! I hope you enjoy it :) you will not have to speak in front of the class as much since we are doing movies but you will have to speak into a camera...which is not as scary! I will keep it in mind that you do not like talking in front of large crowds.
ReplyDeleteYou need to change your blog title to your name. The length in your blog is great! just make the changes and you will get a 10/10!
